Refuse Collection
Guidelines for Refuse Collection (from the Somerset Waste Partnership)
- Materials should be out on collection days by 7am, at the edge of your property and clearly visible.
- Please only put in refuse waste that cannot be recycled or composted.
- If you have a wheeled bin for refuse, the lid should be closed for collection and only refuse inside the bin will be collected.
- If your property is unsuitable for a bin, up to 4 sacks of refuse can be put out each collection.
- Collections not made due to bad weather will be collected as soon as possible (for updates see: www.somersetwaste.gov.uk).
